At Livingston Building Solutions, we believe in doing things the right way — with clear communication, solid craftsmanship, and a work ethic that shows up every day.
I’m Jesse Livingston, and I founded this company in 2022 to bring structure, leadership, and hands-on experience together under one roof.
I’ve been around construction my entire life. My grandfather was a skilled carpenter who built homes, my dad could fix almost anything and has an unmatched eye for detail, and my stepfather — who once owned a roofing company — passed on knowledge and experience while we worked on countless home projects together.
Those early influences taught me the value of hard work, doing things right, and taking pride in what you build.
I started my career in construction before working at Ford Motor Company in assembly and quality control, where I learned how important consistency and precision really are. From there, I took on leadership roles in the security industry and eventually transitioned into commercial property and asset management.
For eight years, I oversaw major projects across the country — from new self-storage developments and tenant build-outs to roofing, concrete, asphalt, and capital improvements.
I managed a commercial property management department overseeing 1,500 active leases across 21 locations nationwide, totaling over 1 million square feet.
That experience gave me a deep understanding of project coordination, budgeting, communication, and what it takes to keep operations running smoothly.
Since launching Livingston Building Solutions, I’ve led crews handling residential remodels, roofing, and light commercial construction. I’ve also remodeled two of my own homes from the ground up, so I understand what it’s like to be the client — making big decisions, watching the clock and budget, and hoping the people you hired do it right.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Sociology, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management.
That education helps me lead teams, build systems that work, and manage jobs with both clarity and care.
